Caliber Turns 8!
By Mikena Albers, Account Assistant

I may be the newest member of the Caliber team, but there are things that I have already picked up on within my past month of working here. So, in honor of celebrating Caliber’s 8th Birthday this month, I’ve decided to list 8 things that I’ve come to love, learn about, and look forward to, here at Caliber:
- Teamwork makes the dream work
- There are many different roles within an advertising agency, but it’s important that everyone knows what’s going on to keep things on track. At Caliber, everyone is involved in projects from the beginning to the end. Whether it’s brainstorming a new concept with the bosses or lending advice to a designer, all opinions are heard.
- This agency is built on high-level creativity and client service. Closely followed by the great outdoors and summer fun
- Double bogey? Wall hangers? It might be time to brush up on that hunting and golfing jargon, otherwise, you will be lost in a lot of conversations happening during Monday morning meetings.
- Client relationships are everything
- Maintaining a good relationship with your clients is very important. That’s why Caliber has had some of the same clients for the past 8 years!
- Caliber’s creative juices are always flowing, but sometimes a little extra help is needed
- We’ve got a great team that works hard everyday. By the time 4:00pm Friday rolls around, everyone is welcome to ask for a little extra help from their friends named Sam Adams, Bud and a few of their distant relatives.
- Guard your project calendar with your life
- Project calendars are a holy grail around here. Anything and everything is on it and if you misplace it, you’re doomed! (Okay, fine… you would just have to print a new one. But still, they are IMPORTANT)
- Summertime is the best time (if you ask me)
- When the weeks get shorter and the sun gets warmer, that means it’s Caliber’s favorite time of year. If your projects are up to speed and the client list is taken care of for the week, staffers get to punch out at noon to get a jump start on their weekend.
- There are 5 seasons within the year
- There are 5 annual seasons acknowledged at Caliber: Summer, Fall, Chrispmix, Winter and Spring. I have yet to taste this anticipated, seasonal concoction of chocolate, nuts, and holiday spirit, but I can already imagine that it will live up to the hype.
- Does anyone actually know how to play foosball?
- Seriously… I have never seen anyone try and battle it out at the table.
