Caliber Creative

Helpline Center is an amazing statewide community resource that was struggling to inform their audience just how valuable their services are, no matter the severity of the problem. Caliber Creative partnered with Helpline Center to create a new brand and updated marketing materials to showcase all that the Helpline Center offers.

'Drive 2 Help' Campaign

In 2013, Caliber launched the Drive 2 Help campaign with our friends at the Helpline Center. This campaign encouraged people in Sioux Falls to help spread awareness about 211 by simply placing a magnet on the back of their vehicles. People throughout the community requested the 211 car magnets and over the years, the magnets have stayed affixed to vehicles serving as a constant reminder that any and everyone can receive help by simply dialing 211.

Community Trends

Step Forward To Prevent Suicide

Step Forward To Prevent Suicide is an annual 1.5 Mile Walk and 5K Run that spreads awareness and raises funds for the Helpline Center’s statewide suicide prevention and survivor services. This event is held in communities across South Dakota including Sioux Falls, Pierre, Brookings and Watertown. Caliber is always involved designing the event T-shirts and collateral pieces, as well as participating the day-of running and attending the remembrance ceremony and balloon release.

'Text 4 Hope' Campaign

In 2015, the Helpline Center launched their crisis texting program for college students. This service allows students who are struggling with family or relationship issues, academic concerns or suicidal thoughts to talk via text to a trained specialist at the Helpline Center. In addition to traditional collateral materials, a guerilla marketing element was introduced to the campaign asking students to share notes of hope via social media utilizing the hashtag, #SDhopenotes. Currently, the program serves students at the University of Sioux Falls, Augustana University and South Dakota State University. To see one a campaign site, click here.
