Annual Report Award of Merit

A couple weeks ago, we were thrilled to get news that the 2014 Missouri River Energy Services (MRES) Annual Report was recognized with an Award of Merit by the American Public Power Association, a collection of more than 2,000 community-owned electric utilities, serving more than 48 million people or about 14 percent of the nation’s electricity consumers. This is a great honor for both MRES and Caliber Creative as it celebrates excellence in communications with judging focused on creativity in copy, design, financial data, graphics and organization.

MRES’s 2014 Annual Report centered around the theme of “Building Strong.” A theme that speaks to their great expansion and growth over the recent years; most notably with their Red Rock hydro electric and CapX transmission projects.

For the annual report, Caliber established the overall design and layout with “Building Strong” in mind. Graphically strong construction, machinery and Red Rock and CapX project photography were incorporated with our unique color treatments, and all-new icons and fresh data visualizations (charts and graphs) were developed. Our team also enjoyed overseeing the print production of this piece; selecting specialty finishes including a custom emboss on the cover title and perfect binding for the spine.
