A No-Bummer Summer

Caliber loves summer. Living in the South Dakota tundra can have its downsides, but everyone can agree the summer months are a welcome relief. That’s why we put extra effort into planning summer-related activities for the office. If you want to know what we do to make summer special, read more below!

Summer Kickoff
Each year Caliber Creative likes to kick off the summer (and summer hours) with a bang. This year, the agency owners decided to do something a little different and surprise the staff with a downtown ride on the Sip-N-Cycle! Great weather, cold drinks and some exercise makes for a great Caliber party. And no one fell off! 

SDAF Golf Tournament
Another Caliber tradition is to participate in the annual golf tournament the South Dakota Advertising Federation hosts in June. Team Caliber consisted of doubles Megan, Kristene, Brad and Casey. We managed to tie for third place, which isn’t too bad if we don’t say so ourselves.

Bike to Work Day
Caliber tried something new this year, participating in Bike To Work Day! Some of us were more familiar with biking than others. It was the first time in years designer, Megan Kiecker, had ridden one. The day entailed biking to work; biking to and from lunch; and biking home. All in all, it was a beautiful day. And the hill race back from lunch gave us a little extra pep for the afternoon.

National Donut Day
National Donut Day can be described as some of our staff’s favorite holiday. This year, we decided to embrace the celebration and deliver boxes of Letter “C” donuts to our clients in Sioux Falls and Brandon. We love showing our clients we appreciate them with a special treat. Needless to say they loved them, and so did we!
